Donate deer elk, or livestock to help feed the hungry of your community! Find Participating Butchers and Contacts who work with our ministry, along with links to Other Venison Donation Programs on the map below. Donations must be field dressed and tagged according to your state’s game regulations.

We recommend contacting butchers to verify current participation status!

1. Find a participating Butcher on the searchable map above, and click the map marker for details.

2. If none are listed for your area or state, look for a map marker in your state labeled “Other Program” to click, and visit their organization website link for details.

3. Call ahead when donating to a butcher for the first time to verify current hours and participation.

4. Promptly transport your legally harvested, tagged and field dressed deer or elk to the participating butcher.

5. Tell the butcher you are donating your harvest to help feed the hungry. Most locations will have a log for you to complete to verify your donation.

6. We pay the processing bill (as funding allows), so there should be no cost for you to donate to FHFH participating butchers. This may differ for butchers participating with other similar donation programs.

7. Some locations may invite you to make a financial contribution to help defray our processing cost.
