Butchers & Charities
Butcher Shops
Local butcher shops play an important role in helping feed hungry neighbors through Farmers & Hunters Feeding the Hungry. Financial contributions to our ministry help cover meat processing costs so hunters and farmers may donate deer and livestock at no charge.
Many participating butcher shops generously provide discounted processing rates to help maximize the impact of each donation. Participating processors must maintain general liability insurance and provide a completed Form W-9 for tax reporting purposes.
Food Banks & Ministries
Food banks, soup kitchens, shelters, and feeding ministries are also welcome to contact us about participation. When possible, participating charities are connected with nearby FHFH butcher shops that may provide donated meat for distribution to individuals and families in need.
