The NRA Foundation has awarded Northwest Ohio Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry a $5,250 grant to help provide nutritious meat to local food banks and feeding ministries.
This generous support made it possible for FHFH to provide over 11,000 additional servings of protein-rich meat to individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout northwest Ohio.
“Protein is often one of the most difficult items for food banks to obtain because of its cost and perishability,” said FHFH Executive Director Josh Wilson. “Thanks to the support of The NRA Foundation, we can help fill that need and provide wholesome, nourishing meals to people who might otherwise go without.”
Established in 1990, The NRA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports programs focused on education, safety, and the preservation of America’s hunting and shooting traditions.
Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry is deeply grateful for the partnership of The NRA Foundation. Their generosity will have a direct impact on the lives of many local families by helping FHFH to put healthy meals on tables across the region.
