The MD DNR hosted the “National Hunting and Fishing Day” event the Associated Rod and Gun Clubs of Baltimore in Marriottsville, MD, on Saturday, September 26th.  FHFH attended and staffed a table full of deer donation information and a kids “nerf-gun” style deer shoot allowing kids to take a shot at a 3-D deer target to win a lollypop. It was a wonderful day with 600-700 in attendance. The event provided a variety of outdoors, hunting and fishing experiences for children and adults.

This event was part of the National Hunting and Fishing Day that occurs each fall to help encourage people to go outdoors and enjoy the recreations of hunting and fishing.
