The Ausherman Family Foundation recently awarded Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry a $5,000 general grant for Frederick County FHFH in Maryland. The funding will help our ministry provide approximately 10,560 servings of meat to food banks and feeding ministries in Frederick County, MD.
“We are so grateful for the faithful partnership of The Ausherman Family Foundation over the past 16 years! Their generous support has enabled us to provide 75,000 servings of nutritious meat to the hungry of the Frederick area.”

Protein and meat products are one of the top items needed by food banks. The expensive price of meat and its limited shelf life prevent it from being a readily accessible food item by food banks. The meat donated to the food banks and feeding ministries by FHFH will help provide much needed nutrition to people in need. On behalf of FHFH and those in Frederick County who struggle with hunger, we thank The Ausherman Family Foundation for their generosity and support of our mission to end hunger.
